Disabled friendly rooms

So far our disabled friendly rooms have been occupied by wheel chair users and elderly guests and able people, who have asked for the annexe rooms specifically having seen the pictures of the enormous modern wet rooms on our site! We were happy to find that the guests with prior experience of disabled friendly hotels rated our facilities most highly and some helpful suggestions they made have been implemented. Our elderly guests, both French and English were all delighted and some have already rebooked!

Nos nouvelles chambres labélisées Tourisme & handicap équipées de grandes douches italiennes ont remporté un franc succès auprès de notre clientèle. Nos installations haut de gamme ont été très appréciées par nos clients habitués aux établissements aux normes handicap. Nos visiteurs, français et anglais, plus âgés ont été ravis et quelques un ont réservé à nouveau nos chambres pour un futur séjour à Thiviers

Welcome to our new blog section. We will be regularly updating you on any of our special offers, news and local events. This last year has seen many changes to the hotel including the opening of our two disabled friendly ground floor annexe rooms and a free efficient wifi access in all rooms which works marvellously despite our  thick stone walls which have sometimes to date  hindered performance! We are looking forward to guests relaxing in our new entertainment/sitting room this summer- the large French windows now lead directly onto our terrace and garden – ideal for relaxing on summer afternoons and evenings. We are already expecting several groups coming on a cycling tour of the surrounding area using us as a base and our usual groups of pilgrims who every spring /summer make their way in stages to Santiago de Compostella. Wedding venues, such as the Chateau at Jumilhac, are getting booked up with the guests staying at our hotel requiring the usual late night/ early morning taxi service!
